Membership Growth Workshop : SCC Dr. Somnath called for taking Chhattisgarh’s scouting to new heights

Korba. Addressing the inaugural session of the state level membership growth workshop, state chief commissioner Dr. Somnath Yadav called for taking Chhattisgarh’s scouting to new heights.
Dr. Yadav told the participants from 34 districts including 33 educational districts of the state participating in the workshop that if work is done with precise action plan and coordination, any goal can be achieved. The state chief commissioner said that the state’s strategy has been prepared under membership growth. Now the district level strategy of each district has to be finalized. The chief guest of the inaugural session, Dr. Yadav said that the necessary support and resources for strategy plan and membership growth will be provided to the districts by the state headquarters.
Captain AK Singh, General Manager (Administration), ACB India Limited, was the very special guest of the inaugural session of the workshop organized by Bharat Scouts and Guides, Chhattisgarh State Headquarters, Raipur at Indus Public School, Dipka, Korba. Captain Shri Singh said that the activities of organizations like Scout Guide teach morality to the youth and instill in them the spirit of patriotism and social service.
Special guest and District Commissioner (Rover) of Bharat Scouts and Guides and Principal of Indus Public School Dr. Sanjay Gupta said that it is a matter of good fortune for him that the organization has got the opportunity to host the state level workshop.
In the inaugural session, State Secretary Kailash Soni, State Training Commissioner (Scout) Shailendra Mishra, State Training Commissioner (Guide) Sarita Pandey, State Organization Commissioner (Scout) Vijay Yadav were also present on the stage as special guests.
The inaugural session was thanked by State Coordinator (Membership Growth) Mohammed Sadique Sheikh. Guide Captain Pushpa Shandilya conducted the program. The two-day Membership Growth Workshop was mainly attended by District Organization Commissioners. District Secretaries, District Joint Secretaries, Scouters, Guides from some districts also participated.
