Closing ceremony of two-day state level membership growth workshop, Organized by Bharat Scouts and Guides, Chhattisgarh
Korba. The two-day state level membership growth workshop concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants. Chief guest of the closing ceremony Kaushal Prasad Tendulkar said that the objective of the workshop is to further improve our work.
State Commissioner of The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Chhattisgarh and City Magistrate, Korba Kaushal Prasad Tendulkar said that scouting is important in every field. It plays a big role especially during times of disaster. Mr. Tendulkar told the participants that the commitment made by them regarding membership growth will be completed within the stipulated time.
State Secretary Kailash Soni in his address gave information about the activities being conducted in the state. As special guests, Vice President of ACB India Limited Ranveer Narwal, General Manager (Administration) Captain AK Singh, District Commissioner (Rover) and Principal of Indus Public School Dr. Sanjay Gupta were present. State Training Commissioners Shailendra Mishra, Sarita Pandey, State Organization Commissioner (Scout) Vijay Yadav were also present on the stage.
State Coordinator (Membership Growth) Mohammad Sadiq Sheikh gave the welcome address and informed the guests about the workshop. It was conducted by ALT Guide Captain and Growth Facilitator Pushpa Shandilya. STC (Scout) Shailendra Mishra expressed gratitude. In the closing ceremony, the students of Indus Public School presented a welcome song and folk dance.
The guests distributed certificates to the participants from the state headquarters and 34 districts including the educational district and to the scouts, guides and rovers, rangers who helped as facilitators. Indus Public School honored the guests and the state headquarters officials by presenting them mementos.
The guests also planted saplings in the school premises. The two-day state level membership growth workshop was organized under the guidance of State Chief Commissioner Dr. Somnath.
